Latch & Patch brings interactive patch stations to events, pop-ups and brand activations. We're looking for friendly, reliable and hands-on crew members to help create fun and memorable experiences for our guests.

This is a part-time, event-based role with irregular working hours. It's ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work, meeting people and being part of different events.

What you'll be doing

As part of our event crew, you'll help set up, run and pack down our patch stations. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Event setup Set up tables and equipment, arrange our products and patches into an attractive, eye-catching display, and prepare materials before the event.
  • Assist guests Welcome guests, explain how the patch station works and help them choose their patches.
  • Hands-on heat-pressing Help guests position their chosen patches and apply them using heat-press equipment. Pay close attention to placement and follow the team's instructions and safety procedures.
  • Keep things organised Restock materials, keep the workspace tidy and make sure the station runs smoothly.
  • Manage guest flow Guide guests through the activity and help keep the queue moving during busy periods.
  • Pack-down Pack equipment and materials after the event and leave the space tidy.

What to expect

  • Part-time, event-based work with irregular schedules. Event opportunities and working hours will vary.
  • Opportunities to work at pop-ups, brand activations and other events.
  • Shifts that involve standing for extended periods.
  • Busy periods where you'll need to assist guests and operate the heat press back-to-back.
  • Hands-on tasks, including lifting and moving event materials.
  • Working closely with the team and interacting with guests.
  • Following event schedules, dress codes and instructions from the event lead.

Who we're looking for

  • Friendly and approachable, with good people skills.
  • Punctual, responsible and reliable.
  • Willing to learn new tasks and follow instructions carefully.
  • Able to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations.
  • Comfortable with practical, hands-on work.
  • Event, retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
